Description
keyboard_arrow_downThis wood wall light brings together walnut, black metal and a piece of yellow travertine in a format 15 cm wide by 32 cm high. Its etched glass diffuser lifts a halo of light around the stone. It is a singular piece, in which each material keeps its own job and its own presence.
A wood wall light is at its strongest when it does not hide what it is made of. This one assembles three materials: walnut, black metal and a yellow travertine, a natural stone with veining that belongs to the single block it came from. In this wood wall light the walnut carries the warmth, the black metal draws the structure, and the stone adds a pattern you will not find on another piece. The etched glass diffuser softens the source into a halo and keeps the materials in the front rank. Unlit, it reads as a small study in materials; lit, it becomes a gentle source that wraps the wall. At 15 cm wide and 32 cm high, this wood wall light stays compact, which makes it easy to place above a bedside table, in an entrance, or along a hallway where a deeper fitting would catch a shoulder. It belongs in interiors that like plain materials: pale boards, rendered walls, natural timber furniture, raw textiles. It also suits a darker contemporary room, where the black metal joins the other elements. Its damp rating, suited to bathrooms and covered outdoor areas, widens the list of places it can go. A wood wall light of this kind is not only a functional object: it brings a living material into the room.
This wood wall light measures 15 cm wide by 32 cm high, so it projects modestly and will not crowd a narrow landing or a low-ceilinged bedroom. Body and mount combine black metal and walnut, with an element in yellow travertine, a natural stone veined uniquely. Wood and stone being natural, the appearance shifts a little from one piece to the next, which is what makes each fitting its own. The diffuser of this wood wall light is etched glass, which lifts the halo. The lampholder takes a G9 capsule cap, and an LED bulb is recommended. Installation is on the wall, with the electrical wiring built into the fitting. Voltage is internationally compatible, meeting NA, Aus, Eur and Middle East standards. This wood wall light is also dimmer compatible, with the dimmer not included, which lets you set the level against the hour of the day; tell your electrician at the outset if you want a dimmer on the circuit. The wood wall light is finally rated for damp locations, suited to bathrooms and covered outdoor areas. That profile makes it a fitting of broad use, moving without difficulty from a bedroom to an entrance or a covered porch. Worth noting too that the G9 capsule is a small cap, so the lamp sits close behind the etched glass and the halo stays even rather than showing a bright core.
To show a wood wall light paired with stone, give it room. On a plain wall, in plaster, pale paint or render, it brings out the walnut and the pattern of the yellow travertine. In a bedroom, fit one either side of the bed: they answer one another without being identical, since the stone is veined uniquely, and the pair is how this wood wall light is most often bought. In an entrance, a single one above a console marks the welcome. In a bathroom, the damp rating allows it beside a mirror, where the etched light stays soft. With a dimmer, you can drop the level in the evening and let the halo take over. Against a fitting in metal alone, this wood wall light brings more warmth; against one entirely in timber, the stone adds contrast and visual depth. Choose a warm-toned LED bulb to do justice to the walnut and the yellow of the travertine. Avoid crowding it with neighbouring materials: a wood wall light with stone in it is enough on its own and deserves a clear wall, which lets the drawing speak. If you are fitting a pair, order both at once, since the travertine is cut from stone that will not be matched exactly later. And because the wiring is built in, agree the fixing height with your electrician before the back boxes go in: a wood wall light at 32 cm tall wants about 15 cm of clear wall above it to look settled rather than squeezed, which is worth checking under a 2.4 m ceiling.
Bringing together walnut, black metal and uniquely veined yellow travertine, this wood wall light gives an interior a soft light and a real material. Dimmer compatible and rated for damp locations, it is waiting for the right wall at Alborra.

Light decides whether a room makes you want to stay. Each light is chosen for its material and for what it does with it.
A hallway, a bedhead or a table each call for a different light. Our collections are organised by use.
The market is full of painted resin that imitates marble. Our travertines and alabasters are cut from stone: no two pieces are identical.
Exact dimensions, material, bulb cap type, what is included: everything is on the product page. You know what you are installing.
