Description
keyboard_arrow_downAn amber ceramic pendant light gives a table or a bed a warm, soft light. Its wavy, corolla-shaped shade has a Japandi restraint, with a glossy fluid glaze and a fitting in solid copper. A 4 W LED bulb is included, and the shade is only 23 cm across.
Japandi looks for a balance between Japanese restraint and Scandinavian warmth, and this amber ceramic pendant light is a clear translation of it. The shade has a wavy outline, like the corolla of a flower, whose curves soften the light as they soften the eye. It measures 23 cm across and 10.5 cm high, a compact proportion that goes where a large fitting would be too present. The shade of this amber ceramic pendant light is premium ceramic with a fluid glossy glaze, whose bright surface catches the bulb and spreads its reflections along the waves. The bulb holder and fittings are in solid copper, a warm metal that picks up the amber tone. The cable is a braided, rope-like cable of 150 cm, adjustable. An amber ceramic pendant light of this series belongs in a bedroom, over a central island or in a dining area where a wrapped, quiet mood is wanted. Hung alone, it is a discreet focal point; hung in a row of two or three above a table, it sets up a regular rhythm that structures the space. Even switched off, the curves of the amber ceramic pendant light read from across the room, so the shade stays a sculptural object. The Japandi idea is also a way of using the home: fewer things, each chosen with care, and a light soft enough to leave on through a long evening.
This amber ceramic pendant light comes with a 4 W LED bulb included, on a standard bulb cap, so it is ready to light once it is fixed. The light is a warm light, chosen for a cosy mood. The specification gives a lighting area of 5 to 10 m² per pendant, which helps you decide how many to hang. The 4 W LED bulb of the amber ceramic pendant light draws very little power, and with the warm light it gives, it is a lamp you can leave on at the dinner table without noticing it: one for a small table or a bedside, several for a longer table or an open kitchen. The supply is AC 220 V. The 150 cm cable of the amber ceramic pendant light is adjustable, so the height can be set to the table or the bed. The pendant is intended for indoor use, in a bedroom, over a central island or in a dining area. Check that your installation matches the voltage before fitting, and have your electrician connect it. An amber ceramic pendant light with a solid copper fitting is heavier than thin metal, so the ceiling point should be sound. The glaze is smooth, so a soft dry cloth keeps it clean when the light is off and cool. Materials, lamp and cable are all named plainly, and the result is an amber ceramic pendant light that is ready to hang.
At 10.5 cm high, this amber ceramic pendant light is easy to place under the low ceilings of many British homes. Under a 2.40 m ceiling, a lowest point at 2.10 m above the finished floor leaves 30 cm, and the shade takes about a third of it, so a short cable will keep the amber ceramic pendant light clear of heads even over a walkway. Over a dining table, you can bring it lower so the glaze catches the light at close range. In a bedroom, a pair hung either side of the bed at the same height replaces table lamps and frees the bedside tables, and two amber ceramic pendant lights are often better than one. For a longer table, remember the 5 to 10 m² figure and hang several at an even spacing. The amber tone of the ceramic and the copper warm pale walls, timber and natural textiles, and a plain background lets the waves of the shade show. Because the bulb is included, you need buy nothing else, and you can keep the same warm bulb on every pendant so they match. On a landing or in a corridor, a single amber ceramic pendant light marks the way at night without waking a room.
A wavy amber ceramic shade, solid copper and an included LED: this amber ceramic pendant light brings a warm, Japandi calm to a room. Choose where to hang it, set the cable and let the evening soften.
