Description
keyboard_arrow_downA half-moon travertine wall light gives a wall the presence of real stone and the softness of a downward light. This compact model, 15 cm wide, marries solid natural yellow travertine with an iron frame in the wabi-sabi spirit. Every travertine wall light carries the shading particular to its own block.
Travertine is a stone recognised by its pores and its variations of tone, and that is exactly what makes this travertine wall light singular. Here the stone is cut as a half-moon, a simple volume that hugs the wall and lets the material speak. Faithful to the wabi-sabi spirit, this travertine wall light honours imperfection, restraint and the passing of time, in a Japanese and rustic vein. The iron frame acts as a discreet armature for the stone and contrasts with its warm surface. Fitted in a bedroom, an entrance or a hallway, a travertine wall light of this sort draws a small pool of light that gives the space structure without loading it. At only 15 cm wide and 7 cm high it slides into narrow places, either side of a headboard or above a console table. Its projection of roughly 7 to 8 cm stays measured, which keeps the whole visually light and, in a corridor where shoulders pass close to the wall, out of the way. A travertine wall light of this format agrees with raw timber, linen and ceramic, materials that carry its natural character on. Each piece keeps shading of its own, which gives your light a personality no other shares. In a calm room a travertine wall light of this temper invites you to slow down, with a settling light at the end of the day.
This half-moon travertine wall light measures 15 cm wide by 7 cm high, with a projection of roughly 7 to 8 cm. It pairs solid natural yellow travertine with an iron frame, a combination that puts the warmth of stone against the discipline of metal. The integrated LED is included, so there is no bulb to choose and no cap to match. The 4500K colour temperature of this travertine wall light, a natural neutral white, returns the tones of the stone without yellowing them. The beam is aimed downwards, as a downlight, and suits a lit area of 5 to 10 square metres, which is a bedroom or a reading corner. A supply of 110V to 240V and CE and UL certification allow this travertine wall light to go on a wide range of circuits. The wall fixing kit is included, which shortens the job considerably. A three-year guarantee comes with the piece. With its half-moon form, a travertine wall light of this kind sends light down the wall and brings out the texture of the stone on the way. The iron gives a plain footing, while the solid stone gives visual weight to a small volume, which is very much in keeping with the rustic spirit. Compact but present, a travertine wall light of this build asserts itself quietly on any plain wall.
To get the best from your travertine wall light, fit it in a room or a corner of 5 to 10 square metres, the area its output is designed for. In a large room, add more pieces rather than looking for greater output, spacing them evenly along a wall. With a travertine wall light repeated this way you get a rhythm of half-moons that reads like a gallery and gives a corridor some life. On material, let the stone breathe by not hiding it behind objects, and put it with pale timber, linen or wool to sharpen the contrast with the iron. Beside a fitting in metal or glass, a travertine wall light stands apart through a mineral material that is deeper both to the eye and to the hand. The 4500K temperature, neutral and natural, suits spaces where the light should be clear but not harsh, such as a home office or an entrance hall. In more intimate rooms the stone of a travertine wall light brings its own visual warmth and offsets the neutrality of the LED. Set at shoulder height or a little above, it throws its beam downwards and leaves the top of the wall in an elegant half-shadow, which is very much the wabi-sabi temper.
This travertine wall light gathers solid stone, an iron frame and an integrated LED in a half-moon format of 15 cm, covered by a three-year guarantee. It gives an interior a warm restraint. Choose it to put a piece of the natural world on your wall.
