Description
keyboard_arrow_downThis 20 cm wrought iron wall light stands out for its compact format and its matt wrought iron build. Its twin head sends light up and down, for an ambient light that is simple and effective. A discreet wrought iron wall light, suited to rooms of 10 to 15 square metres.
Where space is measured, the format of a light counts as much as its drawing. This wrought iron wall light is 20 cm long by 12 cm in overall width, with a tube of 6.5 cm in diameter. Those dimensions make a crisp piece that is easy to place in a narrow hallway, above a chest of drawers or in the corner of a room. Its weight is 0.7 kg, a welcome detail when handling it on the ladder and when choosing a fixing. The twin head, pointed up and down, is what makes this wrought iron wall light interesting, since the light rises to the ceiling and falls down the wall, making two lit areas rather than a single point. The result is graphic, and it changes with the bulb chosen, warmer or more neutral. Despite its modest size, a wrought iron wall light of this build keeps a real presence thanks to the 6.5 cm tube and a form that reads clearly. It accompanies a contemporary interior as willingly as a more rustic one, and sits with timber, metal, plaster or pale tones. It finds its place easily in a bedroom, a sitting room or a home office, wherever a small wrought iron wall light is enough to make an atmosphere without taking up floor or surface space. Once up it becomes a discreet marker that gives the wall structure without weighing on it.
The structure of this 20 cm wrought iron wall light is wrought iron under a matt finish that avoids harsh reflections and keeps the metal plain. It runs on two E27 Edison screw (ES) bulb caps, which opens it to a wide range of bulbs, sold separately. Each head takes its own, so you can match them for an even light or differ them to play with the mood. Universal supply from 110 to 240V keeps the connection straightforward for whoever wires it. This wrought iron wall light is designed for a lit area of 10 to 15 square metres, which corresponds to a bedroom, a home office or a small sitting room. In a larger room it will complete a ceiling light or a floor lamp. In a smaller one a wrought iron wall light of this output will often be enough on its own. The simplicity of the build, a tube, two heads and a matt metal, makes the whole easy to understand and to place, with no particular constraint of decoration. For a low light, choose warm bulbs; for a reading corner or a desk, a clearer light will be more comfortable. In a room with a low ceiling the upward beam arrives quickly, so a soft bulb keeps the ceiling from glaring.
A 20 cm wrought iron wall light lends itself to many arrangements. As a pair either side of a bed, a mirror or a sofa, it sets a reassuring symmetry and frees the bedside tables, and that pairing means ordering two. In a run along a hallway or a staircase it draws a steady rhythm, each head throwing its halo up and down. On its own, a wrought iron wall light can mark an entrance or bring a flat wall some relief. Choose the mounting height for the use, higher for ambient light, a little lower to accompany reading. Leave clear space around the wrought iron wall light so the two beams can open out and the matt wrought iron reads against the wall. If your wall is dark, the upward light will bring out its depth; if it is pale, it will make it brighter still. Either way the object stays discreet, which lets it follow changes in your decoration without losing coherence. If you are unsure how many to fit, start with a pair, since a third wrought iron wall light can always be added to carry the line of light along a longer wall. At 0.7 kg each, none of them asks much of the plasterwork.
Compact, in matt wrought iron and fitted with a twin head, this 20 cm wrought iron wall light suits every wall and every scheme. Choose it for a well-judged light, high and low, in your rooms of 10 to 15 square metres.

Light decides whether a room makes you want to stay. Each light is chosen for its material and for what it does with it.
A hallway, a bedhead or a table each call for a different light. Our collections are organised by use.
The market is full of painted resin that imitates marble. Our travertines and alabasters are cut from stone: no two pieces are identical.
Exact dimensions, material, bulb cap type, what is included: everything is on the product page. You know what you are installing.
