Description
keyboard_arrow_downThis solid wood pendant light brings three natural materials into one vertical outline: solid wood in a walnut or natural finish, a sphere of textured travertine and a globe of matt white frosted glass. Made for careful contemporary interiors, it gives a sculptural presence without overloading the room.
This solid wood pendant light reads from top to bottom like a stack of materials. At the top, a sphere of solid wood, in a walnut or a natural finish, gives the warmth of the grain and anchors the fitting to the ceiling. In the middle, a sphere of textured travertine brings relief and a mineral grain that the eye recognises at once. At the bottom, the main globe in matt white frosted glass wraps the light source and softens its presence. Choosing a solid wood pendant light of this kind means betting on the contrast between the softness of the glass, the density of the stone and the warmth of the timber, with no need for superfluous ornament. The result finds a place in a lounge, an entrance, a reading corner or above a table, wherever you want a point of light and an object that holds the eye. The choice between the walnut finish, deeper, and the natural finish, paler, lets you match the fitting to your furniture, your floors and your textiles. None of these materials is hidden: the solid wood pendant light accepts its textures, its tones and its variations, which gives it an authentic and reassuring character in a pared-back decor. The frosted glass diffuses without dazzle, the stone gives the volume structure and the timber warms the whole: three complementary textures that give the fitting an immediate visual balance. Because the stone sphere sits between timber and glass, the fitting has a clear top, middle and bottom, and it reads as one object rather than three parts, whether the room is bright or darker, modern or more rustic.
On the technical side, this solid wood pendant light comes in two outlines: a round version 12 cm in diameter and 29 cm high, and a cylindrical version 10 cm in diameter and 24 cm high. The cable measures 150 cm and is easily adjusted in height, so you can place the globe at the distance you want from the floor or the worktop. This solid wood pendant light is installed as a ceiling fitting, with integrated electrical wiring, and it suits sloping ceilings up to 30 degrees, an asset in attics and attic rooms. The light source is a G9 capsule fitting that takes a bulb of 10 W maximum, not included. This solid wood pendant light is compatible with an external dimmer, which lets you vary the intensity through the day; the dimmer is not supplied. The product runs on a voltage of 110 to 240 V and lists North American, Australian, European and Middle Eastern standards. The adjustable cable of this solid wood pendant light also simplifies fitting: you set the final height once the fitting is up, taking into account the furniture, the ceiling height and the look you want, with no need to choose an exact length in advance. Under a 2.40 m ceiling, shorten the cable so that the bottom of the globe sits about 75 cm above a table, and keep it above 2.10 m wherever people walk.
To get the best from this solid wood pendant light, think first of the height: with 150 cm of adjustable cable you can lower it over a table, a console or an armchair, or leave it higher in a passage. The two formats, round and cylindrical, let you compose: hung side by side at different heights, they make a rhythmic vertical group. The walnut finish of this solid wood pendant light suits dark woods, leather and heavy textiles, while the natural finish goes with pale oak, plaster and neutral palettes. The pale travertine links these worlds, because its sand tone goes with almost every wall colour. Be sure to choose a G9 bulb of 10 W maximum and, if you want to vary the mood, pair it with a suitable dimmer. A solid wood pendant light of this size stays discreet in its bulk while asserting a character; it suits small spaces as well as larger rooms, where several can be grouped to form a composition. If you hesitate between the two formats, the round one is wider and rounder, whereas the cylindrical one is narrower and more vertical and slips more easily into a tight space.
With its solid wood, its textured travertine and its frosted glass, this solid wood pendant light joins noble materials and soft light in a compact format. Choose your outline and your finish, then give your interior a fitting that is noticed without imposing.

A hallway, a bedhead or a table each call for a different light. Our collections are organised by use.
The market is full of painted resin that imitates marble. Our travertines and alabasters are cut from stone: no two pieces are identical.
Exact dimensions, material, bulb cap type, what is included: everything is on the product page. You know what you are installing.
