Description
keyboard_arrow_downThis brass wall light in brass and iron with an aged gold finish dresses a wall with a thick glass tube cut in diamond points. Offered as a single or a double, the brass wall light stands 47 cm high and is made for indoors. It brings a gilded elegance to a lounge, a hallway or a bedside.
This brass wall light takes its character from the meeting of metal and glass. The thick cylindrical glass carries a diamond-point texture that catches light and returns it in a thousand reflections, like a cut stone. In the single version of this brass wall light, one tube stands against the wall; in the double, two tubes answer each other and sharpen the rhythm. The structure brings together solid brass and iron in an aged gold brass finish, which avoids the glitter of a new plating and establishes a sense of older material at once. At 47 cm high, the brass wall light plays the vertical, giving height to a low wall as readily as it underlines a generous one, though in a room of 2.4 m it is worth measuring the clear run first. The wall base is 10 cm in diameter for the single and 12 cm for the double, which keeps the presence measured. In a lounge, this brass wall light composes with mirrors, pictures and shelving. In a hallway it makes rhythmic points of light. Beside a bed it serves as a decorative, muted bedside light, with a touch of the elegance of a good hotel, and its aged brass patina agrees with timber, marble and leather.
This brass wall light was designed to last and to stay simple to look after. The E14 small Edison screw (SES) LED bulb is included and replaceable, so you are not tied to an integrated source and can change it when the time comes. Output is 15 W for 1,500 lumens, enough to light a living room generously. The materials are solid, and the brass wall light carries a published weight of 2.4 kg, which is the figure your electrician will want before choosing fixings: into masonry or a noggin it is nothing, but 2.4 kg on plasterboard alone is not a fixing anyone should accept. The connection is by fixed wiring, on a supply of AC 90 to 260 V, with CE, UL, RoHS and FCC certifications. A dimming function is available on request, so if you want to vary the level, say so before the brass wall light is installed. The fitting is for indoor use, in a lounge, a hallway or a bedroom. In all, this brass wall light gathers solid materials, a source that is easy to replace and recognised certifications, which makes it a coherent choice for a decorative fitting that also has to be sound. The very common E14 cap keeps a future replacement straightforward.
The choice between the single and the double depends on the result you want. The single, with its 10 cm base, suits narrow spaces, hallway walls or a pair of bedsides, where a discreet brass wall light is enough to set the mood. The double, with its two tubes and 12 cm base, has more presence: it is for lounge walls, entrances and the space above a console where a fuller composition is wanted. In both the height stays 47 cm, which simplifies the comparison. If you like symmetry, order two and fix a brass wall light either side of a mirror or a bed. If you prefer something freer, set a single piece off centre on a bare wall. On atmosphere, the 1,500 lumen bulb gives a clear light, and the diamond-cut glass breaks it into elegant facets. For something softer in the evening, ask for the dimmable version of the brass wall light. Simply leave a little space around the glass so the texture reads: the clearer the wall, the more the cut reveals its reflections. On a dark wall it is the brass that comes forward; on a pale one, the transparency of the tube. Two practical notes before you order a brass wall light. The wiring is fixed, so the supply has to arrive at the centre of the base, and on the double model that base is 12 cm rather than 10 cm, which is worth passing on to your electrician before the hole is cut. And at 2.4 kg, a brass wall light of this build is not a fitting to hang from a plasterboard plug: a fixing taken into masonry, or into a noggin behind the board, is the difference between a piece that sits true for years and one that slowly works loose.
Aged gold brass, cut glass and a replaceable E14 bulb: this brass wall light combines character and practicality. Choose your version at Alborra and give the room a refined light.

Light decides whether a room makes you want to stay. Each light is chosen for its material and for what it does with it.
A hallway, a bedhead or a table each call for a different light. Our collections are organised by use.
The market is full of painted resin that imitates marble. Our travertines and alabasters are cut from stone: no two pieces are identical.
Exact dimensions, material, bulb cap type, what is included: everything is on the product page. You know what you are installing.
