Description
keyboard_arrow_downThis travertine pendant light in the form of a disc brings together real stone, brass and solid walnut in an architectural drawing. It is offered in three diameters, 18, 21 and 25 cm, or as a three-head version on a bar, with a 150 cm cable that you set to the height you want.
This travertine pendant light takes its identity from the layering of three materials. The shade is real travertine, a natural stone whose pores and sand shades draw a mineral grain; its disc form gives it the air of a suspended sculpture. Each travertine pendant light in this family is cut from natural stone, so the disc you receive has a grain of its own. The structure combines brass and solid walnut, two materials that bring warmth and contrast: the gold metal marks the outlines, and the wood softens the whole and links it to your furniture. A choice of finishes is offered for this travertine pendant light, in three tones: brass, walnut and sand, so that the fitting can be matched to your interior. Three single-head models are set apart by their diameter: model A at 18 cm, model B at 21 cm and model C at 25 cm, all 26 cm high. A travertine pendant light of this type suits many uses: one head above a bedside table, a console or a round table; several heads of different diameters for a harmonious group; or the three-head version on a bar for a longer table. Because the shade is a flat disc, a travertine pendant light of this kind reads as a calm, graphic shape from across the room. The materials stay visible and are shown plainly, and the discreet drawing sits as well in a contemporary scheme as in a natural one. Layering travertine, brass and walnut gives depth: you find the wood as you come closer, you notice the metal in detail, and the stone remains the thread that joins them in a calm balance. Hang one alone, or a pair at the two ends of a console.
Technically, this travertine pendant light takes an E27 Edison screw (ES) bulb, up to 40 W incandescent or the LED equivalent, not included. It works with a dimmer, not included, to set the light to the mood you want. That makes this travertine pendant light as suited to a quiet evening as to a working breakfast. The cable of 150 cm adjusts to the height you need, and the fitting installs on the ceiling, including a sloped ceiling of up to 30 degrees. The three-head version is mounted on a bar 70 cm long, for an overall height of 150 cm, and it spreads the light over a long surface such as a dining table or an island. The voltage range is 110 to 240 V. These details make this travertine pendant light coherent and easy to choose: you pick the diameter or the version, the finish and the bulb that suits you. The wiring on the ceiling calls for careful electrical work, which you can entrust to a professional. Because the three diameters share the same 26 cm height, you can combine them in one composition without breaking the unity of the drawing, playing only on the size of the discs and the height of each cable.
Start from the table or the space your travertine pendant light will light. Model A, 18 cm across, suits small volumes, bedsides and entrances; model B, 21 cm, is a good compromise for a dining corner or a desk; model C, 25 cm, has the most presence over a table or in a lounge. The three-head version on a 70 cm bar suits a rectangular table or a counter, where it spreads the light evenly. Think about the finish too: brass goes with gold taps, frames and handles, walnut with dark wood furniture, and the sand tone with pale plaster and natural textiles. A travertine pendant light sits easily in a minimal room, and it can warm a richer scheme through its materials. At 26 cm high, the single models take little headroom, but under a 2.40 m ceiling keep the lowest point of the shade at 2.10 m or above by shortening the cable. If you hesitate between two sizes of travertine pendant light, take the larger for a large room or a high ceiling, and the smaller if you plan to repeat several side by side. Over a bedside, a single 18 cm disc keeps the bed clear while still reading as a deliberate choice.
Real travertine, brass and solid walnut: this disc travertine pendant light joins material and architecture. Choose your diameter, your finish and your number of heads to make a fitting that suits your home.
