Description
keyboard_arrow_downThis travertine flush ceiling light, 42 cm across, marries a body of raw stone with a central core of solid wood, around an integrated warm white LED. It mounts on the ceiling as on a wall and carries a rating for damp rooms. Alborra sets out its materials, its dimensions and its strengths below.
This travertine flush ceiling light takes an organic form here, almost geological. The main body is raw mineral travertine, chosen for its natural look, while the central core is cut from a fine solid wood: the stone wraps the wood like a hollowed pebble, and the junction between the two materials makes a soft drawing without a hard angle. Because stone and wood take the light differently, the join between them catches a thin line of shadow. The palette stays deliberately natural, with a pale travertine that recalls sand and a wood tone that answers it. This travertine flush ceiling light does not seek attention through colour or shiny metal, but through texture and proportion: at 42 cm in diameter and 9 cm thick it has real presence on the ceiling, without ever coming down into the room. Under a 2.40 m ceiling it leaves 2.31 m beneath it. It suits lounges, bedrooms, large entrances and open kitchens, as well as architect-designed bathrooms and loggias, thanks to its rating for damp rooms. As the stone is natural, the texture and the tones vary from one example to the next, which gives each travertine flush ceiling light its own face. The solid wood of this travertine flush ceiling light brings a tactile warmth and a visual counterpoint to the mineral coolness of the stone, so that the whole reads as a complete, coherent and reassuring object rather than a mere light source installed out of obligation. It can be looked at closely or from afar: close up, you see the pores, the relief and the grain of the wood; from afar, you keep the calm roundness and the sand colour of the whole.
This travertine flush ceiling light is designed as a single block. Its wiring is integrated and invisible, with a direct wall or ceiling connection, which allows a double mounting: as a ceiling light or as a wall light, according to the position. The source of this travertine flush ceiling light is an integrated LED in a single-piece eco-design, calibrated to a warm white of 3000K, with an enveloping, muted spectrum. The stated life is about 50,000 hours, which means many years of use; in return, the components cannot be swapped, so you should think of it as a closed fitting whose bulb is never changed. This travertine flush ceiling light carries a damp-room rating, notably for architect-designed bathrooms and loggias, and it is listed as approved for Europe (CE), North America, the Middle East and Australia. The dimensions are 42 cm in diameter and 9 cm thick: wide enough for real diffusion, and flat enough to suit most ceiling heights. This travertine flush ceiling light therefore has no bulb to buy and no setting to make: have it connected, preferably by an electrician, then switch it on and enjoy a soft, even light, day after day, for the long term.
The double mounting is one of the best arguments for this travertine flush ceiling light. On the ceiling, it replaces an ordinary bulkhead or light panel with an object of stone that gives an enveloping light across the whole room. On a wall, the travertine flush ceiling light becomes a large wall light, for example above a banquette, in a stairwell or at the end of a corridor, where its organic form stands out against a plain plaster. On a wall it stands 9 cm proud of the plaster, which keeps it practical on a landing or beside a bed. In a bathroom or a loggia, make use of the damp-room rating of this travertine flush ceiling light to place the fitting where it suits you, while having the installation rules of the room respected. As for decoration, the pale travertine and the organic wood go naturally with linen, ceramics, bouclé wool and pale joinery. For continuity, you can also pair this travertine flush ceiling light with other pieces in stone or wood, such as a coffee table or a vase, repeating the same vocabulary of natural materials. In a room that is already busy, the round, sober outline of this travertine flush ceiling light calms the eye instead of scattering it.
With its body of raw travertine, its core of solid wood and its integrated 3000K LED, this travertine flush ceiling light brings a warm light and a true material to your ceiling or your wall. All that remains is to choose the place where it will look best.

Light decides whether a room makes you want to stay. Each light is chosen for its material and for what it does with it.
A hallway, a bedhead or a table each call for a different light. Our collections are organised by use.
The market is full of painted resin that imitates marble. Our travertines and alabasters are cut from stone: no two pieces are identical.
Exact dimensions, material, bulb cap type, what is included: everything is on the product page. You know what you are installing.
