Description
keyboard_arrow_downA linear travertine pendant light draws a line of stone above a table. This model has flared shades in textured beige travertine, each topped by a dome of solid wood in a walnut colour. It comes as a single head or as a row of three heads on an 80 cm bar, with a G9 capsule in each.
The shade of this linear travertine pendant light is a flared form in real travertine, in a textured beige finish. Above it, the dome is solid wood in a walnut colour, which softens the stone with a warm, matt-looking top. The flared shape gives each head a clear silhouette, narrow at the dome and open below, so the light falls downwards in a controlled way. The single head of the linear travertine pendant light measures 18 cm across and 10 cm high, a small, flat form that suits a bedside, an entrance or a corner. The linear version carries three heads along an 80 cm bar, listed at 150 cm high, and it is made for the length of a dining table or an island, where the linear travertine pendant light draws a firm horizontal line. Both versions keep the same stone and the same wood, so the choice is one of scale. Seen from below, each flared shade shows the texture of the stone and its open mouth, and the dome above it turns the head into a small, closed object. A linear travertine pendant light is also a way to light a long surface evenly without the weight of one large shade, since three small heads share the work. In a plain room, the beige stone, the warm wood and the straight line make a quiet composition that does not compete with the table below.
The 150 cm cable adjusts easily in height, and the light is suitable for sloping ceilings up to 30°. Each head takes a G9 capsule, a small bulb with two pins that suits compact shades, with a maximum of 10 W per head, incandescent or LED equivalent, not included. On the linear travertine pendant light that means three bulbs, and a total of up to 30 W. A G9 bulb is small, so the stone and the wood remain the centre of attention, and the choice of colour temperature is yours: warm white for the beige of the travertine, a little cooler for a working table. The linear travertine pendant light is compatible with a dimmer, not included, and G9 bulbs for dimming should be marked as dimmable. The supply is AC 110–240 V, and the specification lists compliance with North American, Australian, European and Middle Eastern standards. Travertine is a dense stone, and the linear travertine pendant light has three shades along a bar, so ask your electrician to confirm that the ceiling point can carry the load and to centre the fixing over the table. The specification is short and clear: stone, wood, three small capsules and an adjustable cable. Each head is a separate lamp, so if one capsule fails, the others still light the table.
Choose between the two versions by the surface below. The single head suits a small table or a corner; the linear row is for a long dining table or an island, where its 80 cm length should sit within the length of the table. Then think about height. Under a typical 2.40 m ceiling, the linear travertine pendant light is listed at 150 cm high, so the cable has to be shortened a good deal, and the lowest point should stay at 2.10 m or more above the floor wherever people walk; over a table you can bring it lower. The single head, 10 cm high, takes very little of a low ceiling. Match the walnut colour of the dome to your furniture, and keep the surfaces around the linear travertine pendant light plain: lime plaster, oak, ceramic and sand-coloured walls all suit the stone. Use dimmable G9 bulbs if you plan to dim, and keep to 10 W per head. Leave the linear row centred over the table, with an equal overhang at each end, so that the line reads as deliberate, and check that the heads do not sit in the glare of a window behind. Dust the stone gently with a dry cloth.
Flared travertine shades, solid wood domes and small G9 capsules: this linear travertine pendant light lights a table with quiet precision. Choose the single head or the row of three, set the cable and enjoy the line.

Light decides whether a room makes you want to stay. Each light is chosen for its material and for what it does with it.
A hallway, a bedhead or a table each call for a different light. Our collections are organised by use.
The market is full of painted resin that imitates marble. Our travertines and alabasters are cut from stone: no two pieces are identical.
Exact dimensions, material, bulb cap type, what is included: everything is on the product page. You know what you are installing.
