Description
keyboard_arrow_downA hand-painted ceramic pendant light brings a handmade softness to a room. This white model pairs a shade 18 cm across with brass-finish details and a twisted fabric cable. It is supplied with a 3000K warm white bulb, and suits a wide range of carefully kept interiors.
The character of this hand-painted ceramic pendant light comes from the ceramic itself. The shade is shaped from a material that plays with light: the white surface reflects the glow downwards and gives the room a soft, even illumination. It measures 18 cm across and just 9 cm high, a low, wide format that recalls a small dome. This hand-painted ceramic pendant light therefore stays discreet on the ceiling while offering a generous lit surface. People who like handmade objects will enjoy finding the trace of the hand on the surface of the shade. The brass finish warms the whiteness of the ceramic and picks out the details, while the twisted fabric cable adds a retro, textile line. The ceiling base is 12 cm across and stays discreet. This hand-painted ceramic pendant light fits many places: over a dining table, a kitchen island or a desk, or beside a bed, where it can replace a bedside lamp. Hung in twos or threes at different heights, it creates movement. The white sits well with pale walls, natural timber and raw textiles, while the brass finish coordinates with taps, frames and handles. The whole is delicate and plain, and it settles into Scandinavian, bohemian or contemporary rooms.
This hand-painted ceramic pendant light has a fabric cable adjustable up to a maximum of 180 cm, which gives a wide range of heights, from over a low table to under a high ceiling. The bulb cap is a standard E27 Edison screw (ES) and takes a bulb of up to 60 W, which leaves a comfortable margin for a pleasant light. The colour temperature of this hand-painted ceramic pendant light is 3000K, a warm white, and the bulb is included, so the pendant is ready to use as soon as it is fixed. The net weight is about 700 g, a useful figure when preparing the fixing point: this is a light fitting, and an ordinary ceiling rose should carry it, but your electrician will want to confirm that. For a hand-painted ceramic pendant light of 700 g, a solid joist or a proper hollow-ceiling fixing is the sensible choice. The dimensions are easy to remember: 18 cm across and 9 cm high for the shade, and 12 cm across for the ceiling base. On this hand-painted ceramic pendant light, the ceramic, the brass finish and the twisted cable make a coherent whole, and the making gives the pendant a crafted look. At 700 g the fitting is light to handle during installation. It is a compact pendant, supplied with its bulb and its adjustable cable, for an installation without surprises in a living room or bedroom and a warm light from the first switch-on.
With a shade only 9 cm high, this hand-painted ceramic pendant light is one of the easiest to place under a British ceiling of 2.40 m. If you want the lowest point at 2.10 m above the finished floor where people walk, you have 30 cm to work with, and the shade of the hand-painted ceramic pendant light uses less than a third of it, so the cable can be kept short. Over a dining table, you can bring the light much lower, and the cable length of up to 180 cm lets you fine-tune the height in a tall room too. In a bedroom, a pair of hand-painted ceramic pendant lights either side of the bed, hung at the same height, makes a tidy substitute for table lamps, and two units are often the right answer. Over a kitchen island, three in a row at an even spacing read as a line. The pale hand-painted ceramic pendant light suits limewash, plaster and oak, and the brass finish links it to metal details elsewhere in the room. The brass is a finish rather than solid metal, so treat it gently and wipe it with a dry cloth. Pick a bulb that stays within the 60 W limit and keep the warm 3000K tone if you like the room to feel soft. A hand-painted ceramic pendant light of this size also works at the foot of a staircase or in an entrance, where its low profile never gets in the way.
Painted ceramic, a brass finish and a twisted fabric cable: this hand-painted ceramic pendant light is light in weight and warm in tone. Choose where to hang it, set the cable and enjoy a soft light from the first evening.

Light decides whether a room makes you want to stay. Each light is chosen for its material and for what it does with it.
A hallway, a bedhead or a table each call for a different light. Our collections are organised by use.
The market is full of painted resin that imitates marble. Our travertines and alabasters are cut from stone: no two pieces are identical.
Exact dimensions, material, bulb cap type, what is included: everything is on the product page. You know what you are installing.
