Description
keyboard_arrow_downThis wood wall light with its extra-flat profile brings a contemporary interior the warmth of a natural material and the crispness of a glass disc. At 28 cm in diameter and only 4 cm thick, it slips into the narrowest spaces without giving up any elegance. It was made for rooms that want a soft light and a discreet presence.
Choosing a wood wall light means bringing a natural material into even the most pared-back room. Here the structure pairs solid ash with premium glass in a circular format 28 cm in diameter, at a thickness of 4 cm. That extra-flat profile limits the projection from the wall and suits hallways, bedrooms or entrances where every centimetre counts; 4 cm is about as little as a wired fitting can take, and it is the figure that decides whether a narrow British landing stays clear. A wood wall light of this size goes easily above a chest of drawers or beside a door, where a bulkier fitting would be in the way. Two finishes are available, Walnut and Natural Wood, enough to accompany pale boards, dark joinery or a rendered wall without ever jarring. The wiring is integrated, which gives a crisp silhouette with no cable to spoil the line of the disc. This wood wall light mounts on the wall or on the ceiling, which multiplies the ways of composing with it. The light passes through the glass and lays an even halo on the surface, an enveloping atmosphere rather than a direct beam. In a contemporary lounge, this wood wall light plays the part of a small lit relief: it orders the wall even unlit, then shows its warmth as the day goes. Repeated along a hallway or either side of a headboard, it makes a calm visual rhythm.
Technically, this wood wall light rests on a structure of solid ash paired with a premium glass, two materials that answer one another through their contrast of texture. The fitting goes on the wall or the ceiling, the wiring being integrated, and measures 28 cm in diameter by 4 cm thick. The holder is a G9 capsule type and takes an LED or incandescent bulb of 5 W, a practical choice for anyone after a soft and economical light. A wood wall light with a low-output bulb stays easy to live with: the light remains filtered, free of glare, and combines readily with a brisker general light. The fitting is dimmer compatible, which lets the level be set from full daylight hours to the quietest evenings, and it is worth mentioning before the circuit is run. Another point that sets it apart: it is intended for interiors and for damp locations alike, with certified bathrooms among its uses, as well as covered outdoor spaces. The CE, NA, AUS and ME standards accompany the product. This wood wall light therefore combines the character of a solid timber piece with a useful versatility for so slim a format. The two finishes, Walnut and Natural Wood, leave the choice between a deep tone and a lighter one, and each shows the timber at its best against the glass.
Think first about the room. In a bathroom, this wood wall light has its place thanks to its damp rating, and the glass gives a soft diffusion beside a mirror or a vanity unit. In a bedroom, a pair either side of the bed makes a restful symmetry, all the more so because the 4 cm thickness leaves the circulation clear. In a hallway, several in a line pace the passage and do better than a single ceiling light overhead, which is often the only light such a space is given. A wood wall light repeated three or four times along one wall makes a lit alignment that guides the eye and warms a space often treated too functionally. On finish, the Walnut wood wall light agrees with dark timbers, leathers and warm textiles, while Natural Wood suits pale walls. For the bulb, a 5 W G9 LED is enough and pairs well with a compatible dimmer: simply check that the bulb itself is dimmable. Against a bulkier model, the advantage of an extra-flat wood wall light is that it never gets in the way: it joins a contemporary scheme without asking for room, while still giving the wall a real material presence. On a hallway at shoulder height, that 4 cm is the difference between a fitting you walk past and one you walk into.
This wood wall light in solid ash and glass brings together fineness, flexibility of installation and a warm light in a 28 cm diameter. Choose the Walnut or Natural Wood finish and give your wall a fitting that suits many rooms of the house, at Alborra.

Light decides whether a room makes you want to stay. Each light is chosen for its material and for what it does with it.
A hallway, a bedhead or a table each call for a different light. Our collections are organised by use.
The market is full of painted resin that imitates marble. Our travertines and alabasters are cut from stone: no two pieces are identical.
Exact dimensions, material, bulb cap type, what is included: everything is on the product page. You know what you are installing.
