Description
keyboard_arrow_downThis architectural brushed gold wall light in high-purity metal and textured caramel glass makes an elegant opening statement in a room. Compact and upright, the brushed gold wall light carries two sources that light upwards and downwards at once. It sculpts the wall with light while staying slim and discreet.
What sets this brushed gold wall light apart is the way it distributes its light. Two stacked lampholders give light upwards and downwards, tracing a double halo on the surface with a depth that no single source achieves. The eye follows the reflections, the material of the wall gains relief, and the room acquires an atmosphere as soon as the daylight goes. At 10 cm wide by 30 cm high, the brushed gold wall light slips into narrow positions: either side of a mirror, along a hallway, beside a door or next to a basin, and under a 2.4 m ceiling those 30 cm leave room above for the upward beam to open. Its artisanal caramel glass, textured rather than smooth, tints the light with an amber note that flatters skin and pale walls alike. That tone brings an immediate warmth with no need for a coloured bulb, and the relief of the glass breaks the light into fine reflections. Set on a white, beige or stone wall, this brushed gold wall light becomes a discreet architectural detail. Set on a dark wall, a brushed gold wall light of this size stands out as a small point of light instead. It works in pairs and on its own, since the narrow silhouette leaves plenty of space around it, and a pair either side of a mirror is what most bathrooms want.
The body of the brushed gold wall light is made of high-purity metal with a brushed gold finish that avoids the glitter of a bright plating. The wiring is integrated, which simplifies the connection and keeps the silhouette clean against the wall. Each lampholder takes E26 and E27 Edison screw (ES) bulbs, so the choice of bulb is yours, incandescent or LED equivalent, up to two bulbs of 40 W. This brushed gold wall light is also dimmer compatible, the dimmer sold separately, which takes it from a working light down to the level of a night light. It is certified for damp locations, so it suits bathrooms and covered outdoor spaces, two positions few decorative fittings can claim, and your electrician will want to read that line before siting it. It also meets North American, Saudi, European and Australian standards, which is reassuring for a fitting meant to stay where it is put. For a brushed gold wall light on a dry-lined wall, agree the fixings in advance rather than trusting plasterboard. That combination of brushed finish, artisanal glass and certification makes this brushed gold wall light one of the more adaptable pieces in the range, and the finish sits easily with brass, pale timber and ceramic.
In a bathroom, one brushed gold wall light either side of the mirror gives a balanced light on the face with no shadow under the chin, which is the argument for buying two. The caramel light is particularly gentle there, and the double beam dresses tiling or plaster with an elegant halo. Under a porch, on a covered terrace or in a sheltered entrance, the brushed gold wall light marks the threshold and welcomes people with a warm light. Remember that the certification covers covered outdoor positions and wet rooms: it is not for direct exposure to rain. On bulbs, LED equivalents give the steadiest light, and a dimmer lets you set the level by the hour. In a living room, a brushed gold wall light either side of a chimney breast or a sofa makes a classic symmetry that the caramel tone keeps from looking austere. Choose the mounting height by use: higher for a diffuse atmosphere, a little lower to serve a reading corner. It is worth testing a few heights before fixing a brushed gold wall light, since a few centimetres change how the caramel glass reveals the material of the wall. Against a pale paint you get a soft contrast; against a deeper ground the fitting reads as though it were set in a case. Keep both bulbs at the same output, too, since unequal bulbs top and bottom make the double halo read lopsided.
This brushed gold wall light brings together a brushed finish, caramel glass and a double beam in a slim format rated for damp locations. Add it to your lighting plan and give the walls a warm light.

Light decides whether a room makes you want to stay. Each light is chosen for its material and for what it does with it.
A hallway, a bedhead or a table each call for a different light. Our collections are organised by use.
The market is full of painted resin that imitates marble. Our travertines and alabasters are cut from stone: no two pieces are identical.
Exact dimensions, material, bulb cap type, what is included: everything is on the product page. You know what you are installing.
