Description
keyboard_arrow_downThis G9 alabaster ceiling light holds a shade of real alabaster, carved from the solid, in three diameters: 30, 40 or 50 cm. It works with a G9 capsule and connects by integrated wiring. A fitting of noble material, made for contemporary interiors that like stone and gold-toned metal.
This G9 alabaster ceiling light comes in three sizes, all of generous height: a diameter of 30 cm for 24 cm high, a diameter of 40 cm for 30 cm high, and a diameter of 50 cm for 30 cm high. With such a height, the G9 alabaster ceiling light does not go unnoticed: it fills the volume of the ceiling like a small sculptural object, more than a plate fixed against it. This matters for ceiling height with a G9 alabaster ceiling light of this depth. Under a ceiling of 2.40 m, a 24 cm drop leaves a clear height of about 2.16 m, and a 30 cm drop leaves exactly 2.10 m, the minimum a passage requires, so the larger sizes are for rooms with more height. The G9 alabaster ceiling light suits rooms with height to spare, such as a sitting room, a dining room or an entrance, where its silhouette has room to speak. The smallest diameter, 30 cm, suits a medium-sized room, while the 40 and 50 cm formats give a large sitting room a central fitting in scale with it. The brass of the structure and finishes sets off the stone and gives the whole a warm, gold-toned look that goes with a restrained interior. As with any natural stone, veining, tone and translucency vary from piece to piece, so your G9 alabaster ceiling light will be unique, with its own pattern of shades. That singularity is the whole charm of a fitting in real stone.
This G9 alabaster ceiling light works with a G9 capsule socket, a common bulb format that leaves the choice of source and light tone. The G9 capsule gives the fitting wide freedom of choice: you adapt the bulb to the character of the room and replace it when you wish. The shade of real alabaster, carved from the solid, serves as the diffuser: the light passes through the stone and shows its veining. The structure and finishes in brass frame the stone and carry the gold tone into every detail of the G9 alabaster ceiling light. Connection is by integrated wiring, and the data sheet recommends the help of an electrician, a sensible precaution for a fitting of this size fixed to the ceiling. The three sizes of the G9 alabaster ceiling light share the same construction, alabaster and brass, so you can move from one to another without changing the look. You can thus fit a sitting room with the large format and an entrance with the 30 cm size, keeping a consistency of materials from room to room. A G9 alabaster ceiling light of this make is read first by its material and only then by its shape, which makes it more a piece of atmosphere than a simple point of light. The whole forms a coherent set, easy to fit into a decorating scheme.
The large formats of a G9 alabaster ceiling light go happily at the centre of a room, above a dining table or a passage, where they act as the central element. With a diameter of 50 cm and a height of 30 cm, the large model asserts its presence, while the 30 cm version at 24 cm high is more measured. Leave enough clear space around the G9 alabaster ceiling light so that it can breathe visually: a stone of this size does not take well to being surrounded by other bulky fittings. Choose a G9 bulb whose tone suits the stone: a warm light brings out the veins, a more neutral light gives a sharper, more graphic result. In a sitting room, a 40 cm G9 alabaster ceiling light supplements table-lamp lighting well, since it gives the general light while the lamps make zones of atmosphere. In an entrance, the largest model acts as a signature: it welcomes visitors with a lit stone and a gold-toned mount. Do not forget to bring in an electrician: the wiring is built in, and a fitting of this size deserves careful fixing and a checked connection. Remember, finally, that every piece has its own veining and translucency: accept that variation as proof of real stone.
This G9 alabaster ceiling light brings together a shade of real stone carved from the solid, a brass structure and a G9 capsule socket in three diameters, 30, 40 and 50 cm. Each example has its own veining and translucency. Choose the size suited to your room and leave the connection to an electrician.

A hallway, a bedhead or a table each call for a different light. Our collections are organised by use.
The market is full of painted resin that imitates marble. Our travertines and alabasters are cut from stone: no two pieces are identical.
Exact dimensions, material, bulb cap type, what is included: everything is on the product page. You know what you are installing.
