Description
keyboard_arrow_downThis ceramic pendant light takes its cue from Chinese porcelain, with a white ceramic shade that is decorated inside with blue patterns. It comes in three shapes, the corolla, the parasol and the wake, and it brings a touch of history to a scheme.
The shade of this ceramic pendant light is white ceramic, plain on the outside and painted inside with blue patterns that come into view when the fitting is lit and from below. The mount is in sturdy iron with an antique bronze finish, a dark, soft metal that suits the vintage character of the porcelain. Three shapes are offered. The corolla measures 25 cm across and 16 cm high, the parasol 25 cm across and 13 cm high, and the wake 23 cm across and 15 cm high. A ceramic pendant light in any of these shapes suits a lounge, a bedroom, an office, a hotel lobby or a boutique, which are the settings named for it, and the blue and white scheme goes with both modern and traditional rooms. The decoration is inside the shade, so the outside stays quiet, and the pattern is revealed only to those who look up. The twisted textile cord completes the vintage look of this ceramic pendant light. As ceramic is a handmade material, small differences in the glaze and the pattern from one shade to the next are normal, and they give each fitting its own character. The blue is the only colour in the fitting, which makes this ceramic pendant light an easy partner for white walls and pale timber. The three shapes differ in how much of the interior you see: the open corolla shows the most, and the shallow parasol shows a wide, flat disc of pattern. The shape of the shade does the rest, as each one has a different profile, from the open corolla to the shallow parasol.
This ceramic pendant light takes a single E27 Edison screw (ES) bulb, which is not included. The cable is 100 cm and adjustable, and a ceiling cup is included. The supply runs from 90 to 260 V AC, and the recommended lighting area is 5 to 10 square metres. This ceramic pendant light comes with a 2-year guarantee. The intensity is not variable, which means that this ceramic pendant light is not made for use with a dimmer, so choose the bulb for the brightness you want. The wiring is a twisted textile cord of a vintage kind. We recommend a qualified electrician for the connection, as for any fixed fitting. The three shapes share the same technical data, so you can choose on proportion alone. A short drop of 100 cm is a practical choice for a ceramic pendant light in a low room, and the cable can be shortened further at installation. The wide voltage range, 90 to 260 V, means the same fitting suits most domestic supplies. With one bulb and a standard cap, a warm white is the simplest choice, and it lets the blue of the interior show without turning it grey.
The corolla, 16 cm high, has the most volume and suits a table or a lounge. The parasol, only 13 cm high, is the flattest and the easiest to fit under a low ceiling. The wake, 23 cm across and 15 cm high, sits between them. With a cable of 100 cm, a ceramic pendant light on this shorter drop will not hang too low, but under a 2.40 m ceiling the usual guideline still puts the lowest point of a pendant at 2.10 m above the finished floor where people walk, so shorten the cable to suit your room. Over a table, you may hang a ceramic pendant light lower, as long as the view across the room stays open. Because the light cannot be dimmed, think about the bulb with care: choose a warm white of modest output for a bedroom, and a stronger one for an office or a shop. For a hotel lobby, a boutique or an office, a row of three ceramic pendant lights at the same height makes a clear, ordered line. In a bedroom, hang it at a height where the bulb is above eye level when you sit up in bed. Dust the shade with a soft cloth, and avoid wetting the inside, where the blue patterns are painted.
White ceramic, blue patterns inside and an antique bronze mount: this ceramic pendant light brings a quiet history to your ceiling. Choose a shape and fit a bulb for the light you need.

Light decides whether a room makes you want to stay. Each light is chosen for its material and for what it does with it.
A hallway, a bedhead or a table each call for a different light. Our collections are organised by use.
The market is full of painted resin that imitates marble. Our travertines and alabasters are cut from stone: no two pieces are identical.
Exact dimensions, material, bulb cap type, what is included: everything is on the product page. You know what you are installing.
