It comes in three globe diameters: 10, 12 or 15 cm. Alborra sets out its materials, its dimensions and its uses below.

A spherical alabaster pendant light, simple and luminous

The spherical alabaster pendant light owes its popularity to the purity of its form: a globe, a cable, a ceiling rose and nothing more. The main diffuser is alabaster with an organic, textured veining that lets the light through in uneven tones, like a cloud lit from inside. The hardware, in copper with a gold brass-look finish, underlines the warmth of the stone and adds a precious note without ever overdoing it. Available in 10 cm, 12 cm or 15 cm diameters, this spherical alabaster pendant light suits varied uses: alone above a bedside table or a reading corner, as a pair either side of a bed, or as a trio of different sizes above a dining table or a staircase. The play of sizes makes a visual rhythm that recalls a cloud of soft moons, while the gold finish keeps the whole coherent. The globe is a classic that does not date, and in this spherical alabaster pendant light the alabaster gives it a mineral singularity that glass or plastic cannot copy. As each stone is natural, the veining changes from one globe to the next: two spheres of the same diameter will never be quite identical, which is the point of grouping them. In a contemporary lounge, a spherical alabaster pendant light softens the angles of the furniture and warms pale walls; in a bedroom, it replaces a bedside wall light and frees the table top. Its simplicity suits very different styles, from Japanese minimalism to a Mediterranean spirit.

The gold-finish spherical alabaster pendant light: cable, bulb and standards

This spherical alabaster pendant light is supplied with an E14 LED bulb included, replaceable, in the E14 small Edison screw (SES) cap: you can fit it without buying anything more, and change the source later if needed. The E14 small Edison screw (SES) cap is widely sold, so a replacement is easy to find. The power is 10 W for 1,000 lumens, and the lamp is not dimmable. The ceiling rose of this spherical alabaster pendant light is 10 cm across, and the cable reaches 200 cm at most, with an easy adjustment to set the hanging height to your room. The installation is on the ceiling, and fitting on a sloping ceiling is possible on request. The supply accepts a range of 90 to 260V AC, with a recessed wiring, and the product is listed with UL, CE, CCC, FCC, RoHS and SAA marks, among others. The globe of this spherical alabaster pendant light comes in three diameters, so you can match the size to the room, between the small 10 cm pendant and the more present 15 cm globe. The gold-finish copper hardware holds the whole in place. This spherical alabaster pendant light is a simple fitting to put up, with all the essentials supplied, the bulb included, which makes it very easy to install. Under a 2.40 m ceiling the cable is meant to be shortened: over a table, hang the globe so that its lowest point is roughly 75 cm above the table top.

Composing a spherical alabaster pendant light: a globe, a pair or a trio

There are several ways of using this spherical alabaster pendant light. A 15 cm globe is enough to dress a corner of a lounge or an entrance, with a frank presence. Two globes of 10 or 12 cm frame a bed, a sofa or a console well, one each side, at slightly different heights for a livelier look. A trio of three sizes of spherical alabaster pendant light, hung at varied lengths, makes a cloud of light over a table. Since the cable is adjustable up to 200 cm, you can set each globe at the height you choose, lower over a table and higher in a passage. Note that the 10 W lamp is not dimmable: if you want to vary the mood, multiply the globes or add another source in the room. Have the spherical alabaster pendant light connected by an electrician, so that the recessed wiring is done to the rules and the fixing is secure. On a sloping ceiling, say so when you order, since fitting is possible on request. One last tip: hang it at a height that avoids direct glare, placing the centre of the globe a little above the eye line of seated people.

With its veined alabaster globe, its gold-finish hardware and its LED bulb included, this spherical alabaster pendant light brings a soft light and a true material to your interior. Choose the diameter and the number of globes, then set the cable to your height.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1089/9878/7409/files/alborra-suspension-albatre-dore-sphere-1.png?v=1792239810
