dome-cordless-bedside-table-lamp-29-cm
Dome Cordless Bedside Table Lamp 29 cm

This dome cordless bedside lamp takes the form of a dome globe set on a frame of lacquered metal. It stands 29 cm high, with a globe 14.5 cm across, and carries a 5000 mAh lithium battery and a warm LED. Alborra offers it for the bedside, the desk and moments of reading.

A dome cordless bedside lamp with a warm, restful light

The silhouette of this dome cordless bedside lamp rests on a simple contrast: a dome globe 14.5 cm in diameter that gathers the light, and a metal frame with a lacquered finish that lifts it to 29 cm high. This dome cordless bedside lamp sits between a small accent lamp and a classic table light: tall enough to light an open book from the bedside, compact enough to fit a narrow table. The lacquered finish gives the metal a smooth, clean look, easy to keep clean with a soft, dry cloth, which suits a lamp that is handled every day, that combines easily with other materials, wood, ceramic, glass or textile. The listing describes the source of the dome cordless bedside lamp as a warm LED, comfortable for reading: it is the tone you look for in the evening, when you want to slow down without tiring the eyes. As a rechargeable desk lamp the dome cordless bedside lamp moves easily from one piece of furniture to another and follows your habits, from bedside to desk, or to a corner of the lounge where you want a mood at home. With no cable to pull, the dome cordless bedside lamp frees the furniture it stands on and simplifies installation in a bedroom where sockets are scarce. It also makes decoration freer: you put it where it looks well, not only where the cable reaches. With its round globe and metal stem, it suits a wooden bedside table as well as a metal or glass worktop, and looks right in a bedroom or a study.

A 5000 mAh battery and USB charging in a dome cordless bedside lamp

What makes the difference here is endurance. The dome cordless bedside lamp carries an integrated lithium battery of 5000 mAh, matched to a power of 5 W. The stated running time is about 6 to 8 hours, depending on use, a duration that comfortably covers an evening of reading. Charging is by USB, with a cable supplied, for an input of 3.7 V and 2 A at most. The control of the dome cordless bedside lamp is by touch: the touch switch lets you set the light gently, without a jolt, which is welcome at nightfall when you want a quiet transition. The lamp belongs to the family of cordless rechargeable LED lamps: it needs no bulb replacement and can be used wherever a spot of light is wanted. A battery of this capacity limits how often the lamp needs recharging, which is the real test of a cordless light. The dome cordless bedside lamp brings together a large battery, a warm light and a gentle control, the three things most people look at first when choosing a lamp for the bedroom. Its lacquered frame and rounded globe also give it a decorative presence that you appreciate even when the lamp is off and simply stands on the furniture. For an electrician, there is nothing to wire: a 3.7 V, 2 A USB input is all there is.

Using your dome cordless bedside lamp every day

The use suggested in the listing covers the desk, the bedside, reading and a mood at home, and the dome cordless bedside lamp suits all of them. At the bedside, set the light gently before sleeping: the warm tone avoids glare and prepares for rest. On a desk, it gives a comfortable accent light for working late or rereading a document. In a reading corner, it accompanies an armchair without any need for an extension lead. With a running time of 6 to 8 hours, regular charging is enough: plug it in during the day, or overnight if you are not using it, and keep the cable supplied within reach. Stand the dome cordless bedside lamp on a flat, stable surface: a clear tray shows it off and protects it from falls. The dome cordless bedside lamp moves from the bedroom to the lounge as the evenings change, so it can play several parts in the same house, lighting a book, decorating a shelf or making a discreet backdrop of light when friends visit or when you simply want a little calm. A pair would flank a bed neatly, each charged on its own cable. Keep the USB cable in the bedside drawer so that charging becomes a habit rather than a chore.

A dome globe, lacquered metal and a 5000 mAh battery: this dome cordless bedside lamp joins a restrained look to real endurance. Add it to your Alborra selection to read, work and unwind in a warm light.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1089/9878/7409/files/alborra-lampe-de-chevet-sans-fil-dome-1.webp?v=1792239024
