Its matt metal body and satin diffuser give it a restrained look on a bedside table. A rechargeable battery, continuous dimming and a height of 31 cm make it a complete light.

A dimmable cordless bedside lamp with a warm, adjustable light

Light is the first argument for a bedside lamp, and this dimmable cordless bedside lamp relies on an integrated 3000 K LED, a warm colour temperature that gives an enveloping mood. The continuous dimming moves from a very low glow to a generous light, with a luminous flux that runs from 249 to 2000 lumens depending on the intensity chosen. That range is welcome in a bedside lamp: the same dimmable cordless bedside lamp serves as a discreet night light and as an effective reading light. The setting is made by a touch control on top of the shade, a natural place that you reach in one gesture. Rather than a switch on a cable or on the base, the dimmable cordless bedside lamp puts the control on the shade, which makes switching on more fluid. The diffuser of the dimmable cordless bedside lamp, in satin polycarbonate, softens the source for a more even light. With a power of only 3.5 W, you still obtain a wide range of lighting, an interesting compromise for a portable bedside lamp. If you share a bedroom, the low end of the range lets one person read while the other sleeps. This warm mood suits the bedroom, but also a reading corner or a side table in the lounge. By combining a 3000 K light, continuous dimming and a satin diffuser, the dimmable cordless bedside lamp aims above all to make a cocoon of light around the bed or the armchair.

A dimmable cordless bedside lamp with a long running time

Running time is the great strength of this dimmable cordless bedside lamp: its 2600 mAh lithium battery gives 6 to 20 hours of light depending on the brightness chosen. At low intensity the dimmable cordless bedside lamp can shine for up to 20 hours; at full power the running time is around 6 hours. Charging takes about 4 hours through the USB port, and the cable is supplied with the lamp. For a dimmable cordless bedside lamp, this running time changes habits: you no longer hunt for a socket behind the bedside table, you simply move the lamp to where it is needed. The body is metal, in fact iron, with a matt finish, a restrained choice that goes easily with bedroom furniture, while the polycarbonate diffuser is satin. The dimmable cordless bedside lamp is 31 cm high, with a shade 15 cm across and a base of 10 cm, balanced proportions that suit a bedside table as well as a console. The 5 V USB supply is compatible with common chargers, which makes charging easy at home, at the office or on the move. For an electrician, there is no mains wiring: only the USB input and a 3.5 W LED. Neither the dimmable cordless bedside lamp nor its charging asks for a tool, a fixing or a change to the wiring of the room. Power, running time and discretion are in good balance.

Where to place your dimmable cordless bedside lamp

The data sheet names several uses: the bedside, a side table, a reading corner, but also a restaurant and a covered terrace. A dimmable cordless bedside lamp so versatile deserves several places. In the bedroom, it stands on the bedside table and comes on with a touch on top of the shade, which saves feeling for a switch in the dark. In the lounge, a side table is a good home for the dimmable cordless bedside lamp, giving a soft 3000 K light through the evening. For a dinner on a covered terrace, or to dress a restaurant table, the battery avoids running a cable to a socket. Keep the dimmable cordless bedside lamp under cover and away from rain. To preserve the running time, keep a medium intensity in the evening; you can always raise the light to read, since the continuous dimming makes every adjustment gradual. A dimmable cordless bedside lamp of this size is also easy to put away: 31 cm high on a 10 cm base slips into a cupboard or onto a shelf. Recharge it after each heavy use and it stays ready, since charging takes only about 4 hours. A pair, one on each side of the bed, suits a double bedroom, each lamp charged and dimmed on its own. Within reach, it soon becomes a reassuring landmark in the house, from evening to early morning.

With a warm 3000 K LED, continuous dimming and a 2600 mAh battery, this dimmable cordless bedside lamp joins visual comfort with freedom of placement. It will suit anyone who wants a reliable light for the bedroom, the lounge or the reading corner.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1089/9878/7409/files/alborra-lampe-de-chevet-sans-fil-tactile-1.webp?v=1792239098
